Challenge

Recruiters were overwhelmed by repetitive manual tasks, limiting their ability to focus on strategic hiring. At the same time, many candidates, especially from underserved communities, faced barriers accessing traditional recruitment platforms and communication channels. Some of these challenges also came directly from existing clients looking for a more efficient recruitment solution within the company's ecosystem.

Contributions

Collaborated on building Sara, an AI recruitment assistant, by defining her personality, visual identity, branding, animations, WhatsApp presence, marketing campaigns, and training materials. Helped position Sara as both a functional AI tool and a recognizable brand mascot integrated across social media, presentations, and product experiences.

Outcome

Sara automated early-stage recruitment workflows including candidate screening, scheduling, and follow-up communication through voice and text. The solution helped clients reduce hiring process time by up to 5x and increased candidate applications by 70%, while creating a more accessible and seamless candidate experience.
